Iron oxide

General

We offer you iron oxide powder (regenerate powder) in various qualities. The products are obtained from the recycling of iron-containing hydrochloric acid from the pickling process.

Pickling is an important process step in the production of cold-rolled steel strips. The solid burn-off, the so-called scale, caused by the hot-rolling process on the surface is removed.

The iron-loaded hydrochloric acid is sprayed in a furnace. Hydrochloric acid gas (HCl) is formed, which is collected in water and returned to the pickling process, as well as iron oxides (Fe2O3) in fine powder form.
